“I participated in community service at our local Barnes & Nobles store to help the nonprofit BackPack Beginnings provide necessary resources, such as books and school items, to children in need so that they can adequately learn. During the service, I partnered with Barnes & Nobles to educate the local community about the ongoing drive and the goals of BackPack Beginnings. In addition to informing others, I also wrapped gifts for the children in need to enjoy while also delegating the gifts. Participating in this service brought me closer to my community and allowed me to fulfill my civic duty by galvanizing everyone towards a positive cause to help others. I gained valuable skills in this service and found it very meaningful as it allowed me to support a cause I firmly believed in.
